Life-long best friends Ashley Steele and Beth Ann Valavanis started The Guidepost Co. in 2024 to meet a need they saw within their own families and communities. With so many voices, they found it difficult to recognize their own; to know what they uniquely value and prioritize as individuals, parents, and families. The Guidepost Co. was born from this need for clarity and connection, which is exactly what they were looking for when it came to their branding.
Strategizing and creating alongside these founders, we developed a solid brand foundation and website to help them achieve their mission, one family at a time.

Here’s what we did…
Our goal was to provide clarity through crafting brand messaging and design that encompassed the weight of The Guidepost's mission.
We hosted a brand strategy session to understand the founders, their heart behind this business, and the goals they hoped to achieve through this product.
Taking everything we learned in our time together as well as from competitive analysis, our team wrote foundational messaging that served as a roadmap for the Guidepost team to communicate their mission.
We then developed logo and design concepts that were equally significant and modern so that they could be easily recognized across multiple platforms. Then, we honed in on creating a color palette and choosing typography that felt true to their vision.
Finally, we applied all the foundational brand elements from the Brand Basis process to create a custom Shopify website.
