Project Scope: brand messaging, logo design, website creation, Canva Pro set up, Klaviyo set up, print materials, tap design.

It doesn’t get more memorable than this!

After 35 successful years as a professor at the University of Georgia, Joan Koonce was ready for her next adventure. She set out to start a business that creates special moments for people while also giving back to the community. Lucky for her, there was a peach-colored, 1940s vintage beverage car for sale that would help her do just that.

Joan and her team approached us with a vision to create a brand that radiated fun and joy and honored her parent’s legacy and the sacrifices they made. And just like that, Barnes & Koonce, and their car Peaches was brought to life!

Here’s what we did…

The Barnes & Koonce team wanted to be able to launch their new brand with confidence across a variety of digital platforms, so they opted to start with our Brand Basis and added website development, deliverables, and Canva Pro and Klaviyo setup to the scope of their project. So we…

  • Hosted an in-depth strategy session to understand the depths of the history & heritage Joan wanted to capture in her brand messaging and the overall look and feel of the brand.

  • Developed logo and design concepts inspired by a vintage Southern feel with a bold and modern look.

  • Set up a variety of tools and programs that would enable the Barnes & Koonce team to create branded content and materials after our project wrapped up.

Here’s how it went…

  • We created an in-depth Brand Basis with detailed messaging insights to guide future content creation and marketing materials. We also created a full brand suite with a wide variety of badges, icons, colors, and logo variations so their team would be able to produce brand-consistent content on their own.

  • We designed a vibrant, intuitive website where potential customers can easily inquire about bookings and learn about Barnes & Koonce.

  • We set up their complete brand kits in both Canva Pro and Klaviyo, so that the minute they launched the brand, they would be able to create branded emails, social media posts, and print materials easily themselves, saving them from having to outsource or hire others to create professional looking content.
